Meet the Directors behind F Milford & Sons
Hailing from an Exeter farming family, Steve has always followed three passions: Exeter City FC, cooking, and great produce. Steve didn’t become a footballer, but Exeter City’s loss was Milfords’ gain. After training as a chef in the 1980s, he joined his uncle at Milfords to run the Exeter market stall alongside cousin Paul.
Thanks to his encyclopaedic knoweldge of fruit and veg – and the best ways to prepare them – Steve quickly became a hit with Milfords’ customers.
Steve loves helping West Country businesses source great local and seasonal produce and is also responsible for Milfords’ food safety, so he’s keen on washing his hands.
